Species at Risk GIS Training Part 1

From the 16th to the 18th of February the First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group we gave an introduction to GIS for Species at risk monitoring. This three day course covered GIS/GPS basics, data collection, management and cartography basics along with data management fundamentals. We used both standard GPS units and a mobile app so that participants could see the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches.
